During his decades-long career, Ezra Charles has been honored with seven Houston Press Awards for Best Keyboards, a Lifetime Achievement Award from the San Antonio Blues Society, as well as appearances in the International Blues Competition in Memphis. Ezra Charles, a name synonymous with musical excellence, has not only taken his unique sound around the globe but has also ensured that his roots remain firmly planted in Bellaire. His unwavering commitment was evident as he leveraged his industry connections to bring high-caliber bands to our stage during the Trolley Tunes Music Series—opportunities that would have otherwise been out of reach. Through Ezra's dedication and passion for music, he has enriched our community and created lasting memories for countless visitors who gather at this cherished venue each year.
