SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY, APRIL 5, 2013

PACKET PICKUP 2:00 - 6:00 P.M.

(please note new start time of 2 p.m.)

Please pick up your packets the day before the event at the Parks & Recreation Center, 7008 Fifth Street, anytime between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. You will be greeted by a PATRONS Board member who will have your t-shirt, event schedule, and a few other fun items. You may purchase additional registrations at this time, if desired. RAFFLE TICKETS will also be on sale for great prizes (on sale here soon).

SATURDAY, APRIL 6, 2013

We ask that you please wear your t-shirt to the event. We want to be able to identify our campers.

TENT SETUP 3:00 - 5:00 P.M.

PARKING:

You may arrive at the tent setup area behind City Hall as early as 3:00 p.m. to begin setting up your campsite(s). Drop off your camping gear near the parking lot entrance on South Rice in front of City Hall. We will not be allowing anyone into the parking lot (it will be blocked). This is for safety reasons but also because several activities will be taking place there. Please park on South Rice and unload your gear, then drive your car to any of the available parking on South Rice, the Condit parking lot, or the Recreation Center parking lot on Fifth Street (we encourage campers to carpool or arrange to be dropped off as parking is limited). Please plan to have your tent setup by 5:00 p.m.

CHECKING IN:

Please check in at the registration desk located at the entrance to the Gazebo area & Lawn. A Patrons volunteer will help you find a campsite. Additional registrations may be purchased at check-in, along with additional campsites, subject to availability.

YOUR CAMPSITE:

Each 12 x 12 space will be marked on the grass in the area between the Tennis Courts and the Gazebo. If you'd like to camp next to a friend, please try to arrive together. If your tent and additional equipment exceeds the 12 x 12 space, you will need to purchase an additional campsite in order not to encroach on your camping neighbors.

MEALS:

Patrons will provide dinner, drinks, dessert (s 'mores & ice cream) on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. & breakfast (with plenty of coffee and cocoa) on Sunday at 7 a.m. We will have kid friendly morning exercises at 8:00 a.m., while Mom and Dad break camp and prepare to depart the park by 10:00 a.m.

FACILITIES:

The City Hall building will be open throughout the evening (& overnight), with restrooms available for all campers.

PACKING SUGGESTIONS (aside from your tent, of course):

Hammer for stakes, sleeping bags, pillows, air mattresses, chairs, pajamas, flashlight/lantern, refillable water bottle, bug spray, kids blanket, playing cards, plastic bag for wet items, sanitizing wipes/antibacterial solution are suggested, along with toothbrushes/toothpaste, contact lenses/solution, camera, personal items and towels/washcloth.

SAFETY/OTHER TIPS:

Due to City Ordinances, there can be no alcohol, glass containers, smoking or pets in the park. Please do not bring weapons of any kind. Battery powered light only. In case of inclement weather, activities will be moved to the Recreation Center gymnasium.

WE'LL SEE YOU ON FRIDAY 4/5/13

BETWEEN 2 P.M. AND 6 P.M. AT THE REC CENTER
